Abstract

Abstract: Acquiring collocations poses a significant challenge in learning Arabic as a foreign language, primarily due to limited reference materials and the difficulty of their literal translation. This study aims to design a digital lexicon of Arabic collocations, titled "Al-Irtibaath", to support non-native Arabic learners. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through interviews, literature reviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The study resulted in a design for a digital lexicon containing 1.173 collocation entries, incorporating features that enhance its usability, flexibility, and contextual relevance. This design is expected to assist learners in employing vocabulary within its correct contexts and serves as a foundational step for developing modern digital instructional tools for teaching Arabic in the future.
