Peran dan Tantangan Tenaga Pendidik dalam Pembelajaran di Era Digital
Abstract
Abstract: The impact of globalization can be seen by the existence of technology and fast-use information which the majority have been enjoyed by every level of society. The existence of technology and information has now begun to be used to support the process of providing education. In order for these activities to be carried out optimally, it needs to be supported by the professional skills of each educational actor in the school. The purpose of this study is to determine the role and challenges of educators in the digital era. The method used in this article is a qualitative approach in the form of a librarian study. This article discusses the role of educators in the digital era. The way educators teach has changed due to technology in the digital age. The role of the teacher has also expanded beyond being a teacher who is also a facilitator of learning that encourages learners to develop skills in critical thinking, creative thinking, and working in teams. This article also discusses the difficulties or challenges experienced by educators in facing the digital era. And also discussed the efforts that will be made to reduce the difficulties or challenges of educators in learning in the digital era.

Abstrak: Dampak globalisasi dapat diketahui dengan adanya teknologi dan informasi cepat guna yang mayoritas sudah dinikmati oleh setiap lapisan masyarakat. Keberadaan teknologi dan informasi kini sudah mulai digunakan untuk menunjang proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Agar kegiatan tersebut dapat dilaksanakan secara maksimal perlu didukung oleh keterampilan profesional dari setiap pelaku pendidikan yang ada di sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran dan juga tantangan para tenaga pendidik di era digital. Metode yang dipakai dalam artikel ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif berupa studi kepustakaaan. Artikel ini membahas peran tenaga pendidik di era digital. Cara tenaga pendidik dalam mengajar telah berubah akibat teknologi di era digital. Peran guru juga telah berkembang melampaui seorang guru yakni juga menjadi fasilitator pembelajaran yang mendorong peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dalam berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, dan bekerja dalam tim. Artikel ini juga membahas tentang kesulitan-kesulitan atau tantangan yang dialami para tenaga pendidik dalam menghadapi era digital. Serta juga membahas tentang upaya upaya yang akan dilakukan untuk mengurangi kesulitan-kesulitan atau tantangan para tenaga pendidik dalam pembelajaran di era digital.
