The Impact of Educational Leadership on Curriculum Development and Modern Teaching Techniques: A Literature Review

Abstract


This study examines the role of educational leadership in improving curriculum development and teaching methods within educational institutions. The methodology employed is a literature review, synthesizing various theoretical references and academic research on the relationship between leadership, curriculum management, and innovation in education. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to highlight the impact of educational leadership on curriculum adaptation to modern challenges, including globalization and technological advancements. Findings suggest that effective educational leadership plays a crucial role in aligning curricula with the evolving needs of society, fostering innovative teaching methods, and addressing challenges such as financial constraints and resistance to change. This study concludes that leadership strategies that encourage flexibility, innovation, and continuous professional development are essential for achieving high-quality education and ensuring curricula remain relevant in the face of rapid societal changes.
