Peningkatan Pendapatan Strategis di SMK: Peran Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Kerangka Badan Layanan Umum Daerah

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam mengembangkan strategi peningkatan pendapatan Badan Layanan Umum Daerah (BLUD) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini dilakukan di SMKN 1 Martapura, salah satu SMK Negeri di Martapura, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan analisis dokumen, dengan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif, seperti data condensation, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification dibantu dengan Nvivo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran utama kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan pengelolaan SMK berbasis BLUD adalah sebagai seorang manajer. Sebagai seorang manajer, kepala sekolah terlibat dalam berbagai aktivitas manajerial, terutama tugas-tugas terkait pelaksanaan dalam rangka peningkatan pendapatan strategis BLUD SMK, dengan menyusun Rencana Strategis Bisnis (RSB), menjalin kemitraan dengan Dunia Industri, memberdayakan sumber daya manusia, serta mendorong inovasi produk dan layanan, pengelolaan yang transparan, akuntabel, dan evaluasi secara berkala.
