Perancangan Merchandise Film Pendek Fiksi Drama "Kalut" Sebagai Media Promosi Dan Upaya Penguatan Identitas Visual

Abstract


Short film "Kalut" is inspired by mental health issues, particularly the impact of being an introvert, which often leads to bullying. The purpose of this design is to create film merchandise that serves as a promotional medium for "Kalut" and strengthens the film's visual identity. Additionally, the merchandise acts as a medium to convey the message of the film through its visual design. The merchandise design for the film "Kalut" uses the Sunyoto design method, deemed suitable for the needs of this project. The Sunyoto method includes the following stages: problem background, identification, analysis, synthesis, design concept, layout design, and final design. These stages will be applied in the merchandise design process for the film "Kalut." In this design process, which aims to promote and reinforce the visual identity of the fictional drama film "Kalut," eight main types of merchandise will be produced: t-shirts, crewnecks, tote bags, tumblers, ceramic mugs, magnetic patches, keychains, and baseball caps. Additionally, supporting media such as packaging, promotional posters, vouchers, and gifts will be designed to complement the "Kalut" film merchandise.
