Penguatan Ekonomi Sentra Tenun Ikat di Jawa Timur Melalui Peningkatan Motivasi dan Kepuasan Kerja

Abstract


This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and job satisfaction on employees’ productive attitudes. The research was carried out through quantitative analysis with a survey method. The population is 394 people who work for 12 craftsmen in East Java, namely in Kediri, Gresik and Lamongan municipalities. Samples were taken using proportional random sampling technique and the results obtained were 192 people. The research instrument used to obtain data and calculate variables used a questionnaire system with a Likert scale. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research is Structual Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that motivation and job satisfaction had a positive influence on the productive attitudes of employees at SMEs in East Java. In the motivation factor, the average value of the indicators is in the number 3.8731 to 3.9442. This illustrates if the motivation to work in the group is high, which means that if the respondent does each observed indicator, it shows that the level of work motivation is also good. Job satisfaction shows the mean value of indicators between 3.8898 to 3.9698. This illustrates if job satisfaction is in the high group, which means that if the respondent does each indicator used, he will achieve a good level of job satisfaction as well.
