INTEGRASI PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI UNTUK MEWUJUDKAN PENDIDIKAN BERKUALITAS SESUAI DENGAN SDG 4
Abstract
as part of achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4. The background of this study is
based on the importance of financial literacy, innovative learning, and empowerment of
sustainable values as part of developing the quality of economics education in Indonesia. The
research method used is a literature review by reviewing scientific articles and journals indexed
by Sinta ≥3, academic books, and related international reports. Data were analyzed content to
identify patterns, trends, and gaps in the implementation of SDG 4-based economics education.
The results show that the integration of economics education into the school curriculum is very
helpful in strengthening students' knowledge and competencies in financial literacy,
entrepreneurship, and sustainability awareness. Teachers are also key creative facilitators who
are able to connect economic principles with local and global contexts. This discussion
illustrates that the successful implementation of integrated economics education must be
supported by government policies, teacher training, SDG 4-based learning modules, and multi-
stakeholder collaboration. This study concludes that the implementation of economics education
is a practical response to improving the quality of education and developing a young generation
that is critical, innovative, socially engaged, and oriented towards sustainable development. The
results can be used as a basis for developing curricula, teacher training programs, and
education policies that are more responsive to global challenges.
