Integrasi Prinsip Sdgs Dalam Pembelajaran Ekonomi Di Sekolah Menengah: Menyiapkan Agen Perubahan Untuk Masa Depan Yang Berkelanjutan
Abstract
school level is a strategic step to foster sustainable mindsets and behaviors from an early age. This article aims to describe models of SDG integration in economics learning and to analyze
their impacts based on previous research findings. The study employed a systematic literature review (SLR) by examining international and national publications published between 2015 and
2024. A thematic analysis was conducted to identify integration models, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the impacts on students’ cognitive, affective, and behavioral outcomes. The synthesis revealed that integrating SDGs into economics learning transforms the
paradigm from a conventional, theory-oriented approach to a more holistic, contextual, and participatory one. Findings also highlighted that SDG integration contributes to the development of students’ ecological citizenship competencies by enhancing critical understanding, ecological empathy, and sustainable behaviors. Therefore, integrating SDG principles into economics education can serve as an effective strategy to prepare young agents of change committed to a sustainable future, in line with SDG target 4.7.
