Abstract


This research aims to explore the implementation of multicultural Islamic education values in the context of fostering religious moderation at Universitas Islam Kediri (UNISKA). The background addresses the complexity of challenges in achieving religious moderation amidst the diversity of societal and heterogeneous academic environments. The research methodology employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and document analysis related to UNISKA's curriculum and policies. The findings indicate that the implementation of multicultural Islamic education values at UNISKA can facilitate a deeper understanding of tolerance, cross-cultural cooperation, and appreciation of diversity. This has the potential to reduce inter-group tensions and strengthen tolerance in religious practices. In conclusion, multicultural Islamic education at UNISKA plays a crucial role in promoting inclusive and harmonious religious moderation. The study suggests intensifying multicultural approaches in Islamic education curricula, expanding inter-faith cooperation networks, and raising awareness about the importance of cross-cultural dialogue for future research.
