Penerapan Model Project Based Learning dalam Pembuatan Dokumen Rencana Strategis Puskesmas pada Mata Kuliah Manajemen Strategik

Abstract

Student participation in the learning process of strategic management courses is still not optimal. This is because the learning methods used so far tend to be one-way lectures and group paper assignments, not yet centered on students. The purpose of this study was to increase student participation and learning outcomes by applying the Project Based Learning model to the making of the strategic plan document of the Puskesmas. The subjects of this study were students majoring in public health, FKIK Jambi University, who taught strategic management courses in 2021/2022. The research design used is qualitative research using descriptive methods. This study uses two cycles of classroom action research (CAR). Based on data analysis during cycle I, students' ability to understand strategic management concepts is 31.1 percent high; 29.3 percent is sufficient; and 39.6 percent low. Therefore, a reflection was carried out to go to the second cycle, where in the second cycle the student learning outcomes were 61.6 percent high; 29.1 percent is sufficient; and 9.3 percent low. Learning through the Project Based Learning model is very helpful in increasing student participation and learning outcomes.

Partisipasi mahasiswa pada proses pembelajaran mata kuliah manajemen strategik masih belum oprtimal. Hal ini karena metode perkuliahan yang diterapkan cenderung secara satu arah dan penugasan makalah kelompok, sehingga belum berpusat pada mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan diterapkannya suatu model Project Based Learning pada pembuatan dokumen rencana strategis Puskesmas. Subjek penelitian ini mahasiswa jurusan kesehatan masyarakat FKIK Universitas Jambi yang mengampu mata kuliah manajemen strategis tahun 2021/2022. Desain penelitian ini desain penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang terdiri atas pra-siklus dan dua siklus. Dari hasil analisis data siklus I, kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep manajemen strategik adalah 31,1 persen tinggi; 29,3 persen cukup; dan 39,6 persen rendah. Kemudian dilanjutkan langkah refleksi menuju siklus II, didapatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 61,6 persen tinggi; 29,1 persen cukup; dan 9,3 persen rendah. Metode perkuliahan melalui model Project Based Learning ini sangat membantu dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa.
