HUBUNGAN ANTARA BELAS KASIH DIRI DENGAN KEJENUHAN DALAM BEKERJA PADA GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Guru merupakan salah satu jenis pekerjaan pada bidang jasa yang memiliki resiko tinggi mengalami job burnout (kejenuhan kerja). Di sisi lain, self-compassion (belas kasih diri) secara teoritis dapat memiliki peran untuk menangkal kemungkinan job burnout pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dengan job burnout pada guru sekolah dasar di wilayah Surabaya, Gresik, dan Sidoarjo yang mengajar secara learning from home (belajar dari rumah). Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan melibatkan 117 guru sekolah dasar sebagai subjek. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan adanya hubungan dengan kekuatan sedang antara kedua variabel dengan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar r = -0,499. Nilai koefisien korelasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara kedua variabel yang diteliti, dimana apabila terdapat peningkatan skor self-compassion maka akan ditemukan penurunan tingkat job burnout pada guru sekolah dasar. Hasil ini dapat dikarenakan praktek self-kindness (kebaikan diri), mindfulness (kesadaran), dan penekanan common humanity (kemanusiaan) yang meningkatkan self-compassion memiliki hubungan dengan penurunan aspek-aspek job burnout pada guru.
