Penelitian Literasi Sains dalam Pendidikan Sains (2004- 2024): Studi Bibliometrik tentang Perkembangan dan Tren

Abstract


Literasi Sains yang meliputi kemampuan memahami, mengevaluasi, dan menerapkan pengetahuan ilmiah telah muncul sebagai kompetensi penting dalam penelitian ini menyajikan hasil analisis literasi sains dalam pendidikan IPA. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk menganalisis tren publikasi ilmiah tentang literasi sains dalam pendidikan IPA; (2) mengidentifikasi hubungan antara penulis, lembaga, dan negara; dan (3) memahami struktur dan fokus tema penelitian dan pengajaran literasi IPA dalam pendidikan IPA. Artikel tersebut terdiri dari 160 artikel tahun 2004-2024 yang berasal dari database Scopus. Perangkat lunak VosViewer digunakan untuk menganalisis dan memvisualisasikan data penelitian. Pemetaan jaringan bibliometrik menggunakan teknik visualisasi kesamaan. Studi bibliometrik ini mengikuti langkah-langkah yang diuraikan dalam Item Pelaporan Pilihan untuk Tinjauan Sistematis dan Meta- Analisis (PRISMA) dan metode meta-analisis jaringan, sering disingkat PRISMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian tentang keterampilan literasi sains dalam dua dekade terakhir mengalami peningkatan. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar penelitian di jenjang pendidikan menengah dengan memperhatikan aspek karakteristik literasi sains dapat dilakukan pada penelitian berikutnya.
