Analisis Pengembangan Mutu Proses Pembelajaran Kurmer Dengan Prinsip-Prinsip Total Quality Management di Madrasah Aliyah

Abstract


This study analyzes the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Kurmer) based on Total
Quality Management (TQM) at MAN 2 Kota Madiun and its impact on improving learning
quality. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews,
observations, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data condensation,
data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is ensured through credibility
techniques, including triangulation, data checking, and adequate referencing. The findings
reveal that (1) The implementation of Kurmer with TQM principles supports the school’s
vision of character development, academic excellence, and environmental awareness
through flagship programs such as skills, research, religious studies, and SKS classes; (2)
TQM in Kurmer learning is embedded as a culture of continuous improvement, with teachers
developing tailored teaching modules, integrating technology, and utilizing student feedback;
and (3) The application of TQM in Kurmer has enhanced the school’s reputation by
increasing student achievements, parental trust, and educational service quality. Despite
these successes, continuous refinement in training and evaluation is necessary to sustain
quality learning outcomes.
