Pentingnya Orientasi Dalam Merancang Pengembangan Kompetensi Keprofesian dan Jalur Karir Guru

Abstract


The most important problem that often occurs with teachers in Indonesia is "teacher
professional competence". Teacher competency development is a must to create quality
learning and be able to improve teacher performance and professional quality so that teachers
have new skills and knowledge. This research is expected to improve the quality of education
and the achievement of national education goals because many teachers already have the best
competencies to produce the next generation of quality nations. This research uses descriptive
qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires at
SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Malang City. data analysis using reduction, presentation, and
conclusion drawing. the results showed that the design of the teacher professional
development orientation program implemented by SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Malang City is the
Competency Improvement Program and the Education Supervision Program. obstacles in
implementing the teacher professional development orientation program implemented by
SMK Muhammmadiyah 1 Malang City are adaptation.
