Strategi Efektif Dalam Pengembangan Kompetensi Peserta Didik untuk Mewujudkan Sekolah Unggul dan Berkualitas di SMP NEGERI 1 Turen

Abstract


This study aims to analyze effective strategies for developing student competencies at SMP Negeri 1 Turen in order to achieve an excellent and high-quality school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results show that the implementation of innovative learning methods such as Problem-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning contributes to improving students’ critical thinking skills as well as their academic and non-academic achievements. In addition, improvements in facilities and infrastructure, regular evaluations, and the professional development of teachers also support the effectiveness of these strategies. Challenges encountered include differences in student character, limited facilities, and a lack of parental involvement. Through continuous evaluation and innovation, this competency development strategy is expected to be increasingly effective in producing competent students who are ready to face future challenges.
