Optimalisasi Proses Pemberhentian Guru dalam Rangka Peningkatan Kualitas SDM Pendidikan

Abstract


This study aims to identify optimization strategies for the teacher dismissal process in order
to improve the quality of education human resources. This research highlights procedural
aspects, performance evaluation, and mentoring for teachers at risk of dismissal. With this
approach, it is expected that educational institutions can maintain the quality of their
teaching staff effectively and sustainably. The method used in this research is descriptive
qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation,
documentation, and literature review or relevant literature studies to obtain research data
and information. The informant in this research is the vice principal of Kalam Kudus High
School Malang. While data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis techniques.
The results of this study indicate that the school always conducts an evaluation before
deciding to dismiss a teacher by assessing performance and violations committed. Decision
making related to work termination is carried out in accordance with the agreement of the
results of the leadership meeting by considering giving a warning letter. SMA Kalam Kudus
Malang provides training and coaching to improve teacher competence regularly and
routinely held once a month through BWV (Blibical orld View) coaching.
