Pengaruh Pengembangan Kompetensi Keprofesionalan Guru Terhadap Penilaian Kualitas Hasil Belajar Siswa di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Malang

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher professional competency development
on the assessment of student learning outcomes at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. This study
adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method that analyzes thematically to
identify patterns and relationships between teacher competency development and student
learning outcomes. Data collection was carried out through three main techniques, namely
field observation techniques, in-depth interview techniques with five teachers and one
principal, and documentation studies. To ensure the validity of the data, the researcher
applied the source triangulation method and conducted observations consistently and
comprehensively. The results of the study indicate that teacher professional training and
development, such as workshops and mentoring, contribute to improving teaching skills,
which ultimately affect student motivation and achievement or learning outcomes. Teachers
who actively participate in development programs tend to apply innovative and creative
learning methods, so that students are more enthusiastic and their learning outcomes
improve. The conclusion of this study is that strengthening teacher competency through
ongoing training has a positive impact on the quality of learning. Therefore, it is
recommended that schools be more intensive in organizing teacher professional
competency development programs and conduct periodic evaluations to ensure the
effectiveness of their implementation in improving the quality of student learning outcomes.
