Abstract

Inclusive education is an educational service system for children with special needs in regular schools. The government has issued a policy that every child or individual has the same opportunity to seek education. This is in accordance with government policy as stated in Law Number 20 of 2003 in article 32 and Permendiknas number 70 of 2009, namely by providing opportunities and opportunities for children with special needs to obtain education in regular schools starting from Elementary School, Middle School and High School / Vocational. The success or achievement of inclusive education will depend on the cooperation between the government, teachers and parents. In addition, the success of learning must be supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure, especially physical education, sports and health subjects. The PJOK Teacher Competency Development Program (PKG PJOK) aims to improve the competence of physical education, sports and health teachers. This program is a follow up to Presidential Regulation No. 86 of 2021 concerning the National Sports Grand Design (DBON) and focuses on the development of the professionalism of PJOK teachers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the benefits of the PKG PJOK program in Malang City. This study is a qualitative descriptive study that prioritizes the interview and observation approach as data collection methods. The results of the study indicate that the PKG program provides new knowledge to PJOK teachers, especially in the Sport Education Model (SEM) material. However, in its implementation, there is one thing that is the focus of the author's research, namely the absence of delegations of sports teachers from Special Schools or schools for children with special needs.
