Analisis Komparatif Pengaruh antara Buy Now, Paylater dengan Kredit Perbankan terhadap Perilaku Konsumen di Era Digital

Abstract


Kemajuan teknologi dan penggunaan internet berkontribusi pada perkembangan metode pembayaran, yang semula pembayaran tunai beralih menjadi pembayaran digital. Perkembangan metode pembayaran tersebut dianggap lebih menarik bagi konsumen karena memberikan kemudahan untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Salah satu contoh metode pembayaran digital yang sedang populer saat ini adalah buy now, paylater. Metode tersebut memiliki sistem yang hampir sama dengan kredit perbankan, yang mana memungkinkan konsumen membeli produk atau jasa tanpa harus membayar tunai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh antara buy now, paylater dengan kredit perbankan terhadap perilaku konsumen di era digital dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan pengaruh antara buy now, paylater dengan kredit perbankan terhadap perilaku konsumen di era digital terletak pada pengalaman penggunanya dalam menggunakan metode pembayaran tersebut, dimana pada para pengguna buy now, paylater akan melakukan banyak kegiatan konsumsi karena didukung kemudahan yang diberikan. Akan tetapi, pengguna kartu kredit perbankan yang memiliki pengalaman tinggi dalam menggunakan kartu kredit perbankan akan meminimalisir konsumsinya karena mereka perlu mempertimbangkan beberapa keputusan yang ada.

Technological advances and the use of the internet contributed to the development of payment methods, which initially cash payments turned into digital payments. The development of these payment methods is considered more attractive to consumers because it provides convenience to meet their needs. One example of a digital payment method that is currently popular is buy now, paylater. The method has a system that is almost the same as banking credit, which allows consumers to buy products or services without having to pay cash. The study aimed to compare the influence between buy now, paylater and banking credit on consumer behavior in the digital age using a literature study research approach. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the difference in influence between buy now, paylater and banking credit on consumer behavior in the digital era lies in the user experience in using this payment method, where for buy now users, paylater will carry out many consumption activities because it is supported by the convenience provided. . However, banking credit card users who have high experience in using banking credit cards will minimize their consumption because they need to consider several existing decisions.
