Abstract


AbstractNyadar is a tradition preserved by the community of the Pinggirpapas Villagein thanking for the harvest of salt. This research used qualitative approch and data were analyzed using the Miles & Hubberman interactive model. The results showedthat (1) the people of Pinggirpapas Village and Kebundadap Barat Village knowthe Nyadar tradition from their parents, (2) the residents of Pinggirpapas Villageare only ordinary participants and the Traditional Customary Leader as the headof Nyadar tradition.(3) The residents of Pinggirpapas Village believe that theNyadar tradition as a form of gratitude to God for the harvest of salt.KeywordsNyadar Tradition, Social Construction, Pinggirpapas Village, Kebundadap BaratVillage
