Abstract
This community service activity was conducted in Krajan Kidul Hamlet, Malang Regency, with the aim of improving production capacity and product quality at UMKM BS Bintang Selatan through the application of appropriate technology in the form of a cake mixer machine. The topic was chosen based on the partner's need to enhance production efficiency, which was previously performed manually and resulted in inconsistent output. With the introduction of this mixer, the dough mixing process became faster and more uniform, improving both product quality and quantity. The methods used in this community service included machine manufacturing, user training, technical mentoring, and troubleshooting to ensure the partner could operate and maintain the machine independently. The activity was carried out from March to July 2024 and involved 20 participants, consisting of UMKM actors and local residents. Intensive mentoring was provided for three months with weekly sessions focusing on machine operation, routine maintenance, and technical problem-solving. Evaluation results showed that the implementation of the cake mixer machine improved production efficiency by 30% and enhanced the final product quality, such as banana sale and klemben. This program positively impacted the participants' technical skills and strengthened the partner's independence in managing production.
