Abstract

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the production capacity and product quality of dry snacks through the implementation of an Automatic Spinner Machine and mentoring in marketing. The implementation method consists of seven main stages: initial preparation and coordination, the production of the Automatic Spinner Machine, a workshop on making taro chips, machine operation guidance, machine maintenance training, product marketing assistance, and post-activity evaluation. Each stage is designed to equip partners with the technical and managerial skills needed to independently manage production and marketing. The results show a significant improvement in production efficiency and product quality. The use of the Automatic Spinner Machine successfully reduced the oil content in the chips, improved product quality, and accelerated the production process. Additionally, the marketing assistance helped the partners expand their market reach and increase revenue. The final evaluation indicates that the activity achieved its objectives, with a sustainable positive impact on the development of the SMEs. The application of appropriate technology and structured mentoring can significantly enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in the market.
