OPTIMALISASI UMKM TEMPE MELALUI PELATIHAN DASAR MANAJEMEN

Abstract
This community service activity aims to optimize Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially tempeh artisans in Bulusoban Hamlet, Pare, Kediri, through basic management training. Although tempeh MSMEs in this area have great potential, they face various obstacles that hinder business growth, such as poor financial management, limited marketing, and a lack of product innovation. The method used in this activity was to conduct direct observations and interviews with MSME actors before and after the training, delivering material on basic management to MSME actors with a focus on three main aspects: financial management, marketing strategies, and product branding innovation. In addition, participants were also trained and assisted in creating product brands, packaging design, utilizing digital technology to expand the market, both through creating accounts on the Google Business platform and on social media, which aims to increase their product visibility in a wider market, as well as how to manage business finances, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The training results showed a significant increase in business management knowledge and skills among participants. MSME actors began to be able to manage their finances better, use more effective marketing strategies, and innovate in product branding. The use of digital technology has also helped expand their marketing reach, making their tempeh products more familiar to new consumers. The positive impact of this activity is seen in the increased productivity and income of the tempeh artisans.
