Hubungan antara Penguasaan Konsep dengan Kemampuan Membuat Penjelasan Ilmiah Siswa pada Topik Fluida Statis
Abstract
Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan antara penguasaan konsep dengan kemampuan siswa membuat penjelasan ilmiah pada topik fluida statis. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif korelasional pada 55 siswa SMA kelas XI salah satu sekolah negeri di Kabupaten Lamongan ini menggunakan instrumen penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan membuat penjelasan ilmiah, yang memiliki nilai reliabilitas secara berturut-turut sebesar 0,814 dan 0,815. Diperoleh nilai r = (53) = 0,845, p = 0,000 dengan kesimpulan terdapat korelasi antara kedua variabel tersebut. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier, penguasaan konsep siswa memiliki kontribusi sebesar 70% dalam kemampuan siswa membuat penjelasan ilmiah.
