Strategi Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal Pada Industri Sanitair Klaseman, Karangbesuki, Kota Malang
Abstract
One of the craft centers in the city of Malang which was established in the 1980s is the Sanitary Industry Center. But over time the pottery craft has shifted little by little. In its development, the sales condition of the sanitation industry is still relatively stagnant because the marketing techniques are still traditional, the products are also less varied, as well as the lack of efforts from the government in supporting the development of the potential of the sanitation industry. The purpose of this research is to formulate a marketing strategy that can be used to improve the industry, and ongoing processes of economic development. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting is by using the collection of questionnaires. The results of this study have found traditional marketing strategies and the use of technological advances by promoting their products through social media and development methods using the triple helix method. Therefore, through the development of marketing strategies, the results achieved have increased.
