Wisata Halalan Thoyyiban: Kebangkitan Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia
Abstract
Halal tourism is a tourism concept that provides services to tourists based on Islamic law. Several tourist attractions in Indonesia have begun to apply this concept and have received a good reception. However, the euphoria did not last long because the Covid 19 pandemic suddenly appeared which shattered many aspects of life, and the hardest hit was the world of tourism. This study intends to explain the need for a tourism concept that is not only halal, but also thoyyiban (safe), as well as explaining the strategies that can be done by the government in order to rise from adversity through the tourism sector. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that there are five strategies that the government can take in realizing halalan thoyyiban tourism in Indonesia, namely socialization to the community and stakeholders more massively, infrastructure development to increase mobility and connectivity, strict application of health protocols, direct guidance to the community, and ongoing assistance.
