Abstract

The development of the digital sector is one of the factors that support national economic development which is characterized by the potential and values that exist in a country. Digitalization
has the potential to facilitate access to finance for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). One form of implementation of digitizing the financing sector is financing innovation through the securities crowdfunding model. The concept of securities crowdfunding explains how SMEs can finance their business by selling their ownership shares or by issuing bonds with the required amount of funds. From this concept, the securities crowdfunding model will facilitate public participation in investment so as to provide alternative financing options for SMEs. This article examines the relevance of crowdfunding securities in the economic values of Pancasila through existing SMEs financing. This study uses the literature review method from various previous scientific articles. The results of this study indicate that the securities crowdfunding has a value that is in line with the application of Pancasila values, especially with regard to the implementation of the populist economy in society. This alignment of values is evident through the direct role of the community in financing SMEs. The role of the community in this case illustrates how mutual cooperation which is the basis of a populist economy can be implemented in SMEs. However, from this research, it is necessary to have further research and study on how the potential for collaboration in cooperative business forms as the main component of the people's economy.
