Implementasi Model SwitchTrade Tax Berbasis Dual Role dengan Pendekatan Problem Solving dalam Pembelajaran PPN dan PPnBM pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA

Abstract


This study aims to describe the implementation of the dual-role-based SwitchTrade Tax learning model using a problemsolving approach in the economics course for tax-related material, specifically Value-Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax on Luxury Goods (PPnBM), for 11th-grade high school students. This study was motivated by the lack of student engagement in addressing challenges in mastering conceptual material and tax calculations. The approach used was qualitative descriptive, conducted over three class hours, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, student worksheets (LKPD), and documentation during the ongoing activities. The research results show that the SwitchTrade Tax model successfully increased student enthusiasm, activity, and engagement during the learning process. Students were more proactive in discussions, asking questions, and understanding the concepts of VAT and PPnBm. However, there were obstacles in the form of a classroom environment that was not conducive due to high student interaction and time constraints. Overall, the SwitchTrade Tax model is highly effective in increasing student engagement and understanding of tax material.
