Implementasi Ucar Sebagai Media Explorative Learning Berbasis AI Dan AR Pada Pembelajaran Ekonomi

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the implementation of UCAR (Unit Card AI Realization) as a learning medium for economics based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR). The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with 36 Grade XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Malang as the subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results show that the use of UCAR is able to enhance students’ activeness, motivation, and engagement in economics learning. Students appeared enthusiastic when searching for clues, finding cards, engaging in group discussions, and using AR features. This media also helps students understand economic concepts more effectively, as abstract materials can be presented in a visual and interactive way. In addition, UCAR encourages collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. The challenges encountered include unstable internet connection and suboptimal AR scanning processes. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that UCAR is feasible to be used as an innovative learning medium in economics education, as it creates more engaging, interactive learning experiences that are aligned with the needs of students in the digital era.
