Abstract


Economic learning at the Senior High School (SMA) level is still inclined to be theoretical and has not fully adapted to the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital inequality, and the demands of sustainable development, resulting in low financial literacy and students' digital competence. This study aims to examine the implementation of the JIGPAY Model in economic learning as an effort to support SDG 4: Quality Education in addressing these challenges. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study and conceptual analysis methods. The results of the study indicate that the JIGPAY Model, which integrates the Jigsaw and Project-Based Learning approaches, is able to create collaborative and contextual learning. The model implementation is carried out through expert group discussions, information exchange within home groups, and project development in the form of concept maps of payment system tools that are presented visually and presented. This activity encourages students to understand and actively apply economic concepts. This model contributes to improving financial literacy, digital competence, as well as reducing learning gaps, making it relevant in supporting quality education in the era of digital transformation.
