Abstract

This study aims to develop an AI-based EduFlip Finance Classroombook learning media on non-bank financial institutions for senior high school students and to determine its validity, practicality, and potential effectiveness. The background of this research is based on the need for innovative and interactive learning media that can simplify abstract economic concepts and enhance students’ independent learning. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of needs analysis, design, development, expert validation, and product testing stages. The results showed that the developed media achieved a very high level of validity, with material expert validation reaching 90% and media expert validation reaching 85.5%, both categorized as very feasible. Furthermore, student responses indicated a practicality level of 86.73%, which falls into the very practical category. The results of pre-test and post-test also showed an improvement in students’ understanding after using the media, although the N-Gain analysis was not presented in detail. In conclusion, the AI-based EduFlip Finance Classroombook is considered valid, practical, and potentially effective in supporting the learning process and improving students’ understanding of non-bank financial institution materials.
