PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN TES KETERAMPILAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA SMP PADA MATERI GETARAN DAN GELOMBANG
Abstract
This study aims to: 1) determine the feasibility of the test instrument as a tool to measure students' problem solving
skills on vibration and wave material 2) develop a valid and reliable test instrument for students' problem solving skills
on vibration and wave material. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development). The
development model used is the 4D model with the steps of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Validation was
carried out by material experts to assess the products developed from the aspects of material, construction, and
language. Based on the results of the material aspect validation test, the percentage obtained was 100% with a very
feasible category, 93.75% construction aspect with a very feasible category, and 83.33% language aspect with a very
feasible category. Based on the results of the empirical validation test on 30 students, the test instrument was declared
valid with a reliability of 0.977 with a very high reliability category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the
problem solving skills test instrument on vibration and wave material is in the very feasible category as well as valid
and reliable.
