Strategi Konseling Online Sebagai Pendekatan Psikoedukasional untuk Kesejahteraan Mental Anak dan Remaja: Paradigma Preventif
Abstract
Sebelum membahas mengenai konseling online, dikemukakan terlebih dahulu posisi konseling dalam paradigma psikoedukasi. Dimana psikoedukasi merupakan roh darilayanan bimbingan dan konseling saat ini yang menekankan fungsi preventif-developmental ketimbang fungsi kurasi. Untuk maksud itu dikemukakan pandangan Carol Anderson yang secara apik dibahas oleh Cottone (1992, 2012). Pemikiran ini sejalan dengan pandangan Gysbers dan Henderson (2006, 2012) bahwa bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah juga harus melakukan reformasi, berubah dari posisi model pelayanan (yang berorietasi pada fungsi kuratif) menuju ke program komprehensif yang berakar pada prinsip-prinsip pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia (berorientasi pada fungsi preventif-developmental).
