METAVERSE: TANTANGAN DAN PELUANG DALAM PENDIDIKAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA

Abstract


Abstract: Most people view the metaverse as new. But actually Metaverse is an old term. Metaverse appeared in 1992 for the first time in a speculative fiction story entitled Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. To emphasize the profile of Pancasila education, it is necessary to introduce a new curriculum so that the profile of Pancasila education becomes a long-term outcome. new paradigm curriculum. In supporting the achievement of the Pancasila student profile, there are six competencies that are prepared, including piety to God Almighty, Global Diversity, Responsibility, mutual cooperation, critical reasoning, and creativity. In its implementation, of course, there will be many challenges and advantages related to the integration of Pancasila profile education with this metaverse technology. The method used in this paper is literature study or library research. namely research that refers to and is carried out based on written books, both published and unpublished research. The challenge in using this metaverse in Pancasila profile education is the preparation of infrastructure and providing knowledge about this technology to all elements of the school. In addition, there will be several things that will be less than optimal in achieving the educational values of the Pancasila profile, namely those related to diversity and mutual cooperation. The advantages that can be taken in using this technology are related to children's creativity, the addition of critical reasoning and independence.

Abstrak: Kebanyakan orang memandang metaverse adalah hal baru. Namun sebenanya Metaverse adalah istilah lama.Metaverse muncul pada tahun 1992 untuk pertama kalinya dalam cerita fiksi  spekulatif berjudul Snow Crash oleh Neal Stephenson.untuk menakankan profil pendidikan pancasila perlu adanya kurikulum baru yang dicertuskan agar profil pendidikan pancasila menjadi luaran jangka panjang, oleh karena itu muncuk kurikulum paradigm baru. Dalam  menunjang tercapainya profil pelajar pancasila ada enam kompetensi yang disiapka diantaranya bertaqwa kepada Tuhan YME, Berkebhinekaan Global, Bertanggung Jawab, gotong royong, Bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Dalam pelaksanaanya tentu akan ada banyak tantangan dan keuntungan terkait intgrasi pendidikan profil pancasila dengan teknologi metaverse ini.  Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah studi literatur atau penelitian kepustakaan. yaitu penelitian yang merujuk dan dilaksanakan bedasarkan buku karya tulis baik penelitian yang telah dipublikasi maupun belum dipublikasi. Tantangan dalam penggunaan metaverse ini dalam pendidikan profil pancasila adalah penyiapan sarana prasana serta pemberian pengetahuan tentang teknologi ini kepada seluruh elemen sekolah. Selain itu akan ada beberapa hal yang akan kurang maksimal dalam mencapai nilai-niali pendidikan profil pancasila yaitu berkaitan dengan kebhinekaan dan gotong royong. Keuntungan yang bisa diambil dalam penggunaan teknologi ini adalah berkaitan dengan kretifitas anak, penambahan nalar kritis dan kemandirian.
